Most Specified

Stellite Grade 6

Co-Cr-W Alloy

The most widely specified cobalt alloy for valve seat and trim applications. Excellent balance of hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance across a broad temperature range.

Hardness approx. 38-43 HRC
Valve seats, stems, trims
Service to ~800°C
Available: rods, castings, overlay wire
High Hardness

Stellite Grade 12

Co-Cr-W Alloy

Higher hardness variant for applications requiring superior abrasion resistance. Used where sliding wear under high loads is the primary failure mechanism.

Hardness approx. 45-50 HRC
Abrasive and erosive wear service
Industrial pump and valve components
Corrosion Resistant

Stellite Grade 21

Co-Cr-Mo Alloy

Mo-bearing grade with enhanced corrosion resistance in acidic and caustic environments. Lower carbon content than Grade 6 — suitable for applications combining wear and chemical attack.

Improved acid corrosion resistance
Valve trims in aggressive chemical service
Available: rods, castings
Also available: Cobalt alloy powders for PTA/thermal spray · Custom overlay specifications on request.
Family 03

Duplex & Super Duplex Stainless Steels

High-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steels for aggressive oil & gas and process environments. Specification discipline is critical — ferrite balance, PREN, and heat treatment condition are non-negotiable.

Dual-phase microstructure
High PREN
Ferrite content verified
Solution annealed
Standard Duplex

Duplex 2205

UNS S32205 / S31803

The most widely used duplex grade — balanced austenite-ferrite microstructure offering high strength and excellent chloride corrosion resistance. Preferred for offshore, desalination, and process applications.

ASTM A182 F51 (forgings) · A240 (sheets) · A276 (bars)
PREN ≥ 35
Solution annealed + water quenched
Ferrite content 40–60% (typical)
Super Duplex

Super Duplex 2507

UNS S32750

High PREN grade for the most aggressive chloride and seawater environments. Significantly higher corrosion resistance than standard duplex, with superior mechanical properties.

ASTM A182 F53 · A240 · A276
PREN ≥ 43
Solution annealed condition
Subsea, offshore, desalination service
Super Duplex

Zeron 100

UNS S32760

High alloy super duplex with tungsten addition for enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. Used in aggressive offshore and chemical process environments.

PREN ≥ 40
W-bearing — improved pitting resistance
Solution annealed condition
Technical note: For duplex and super duplex grades, we verify heat treatment condition, ferrite content, and PREN calculation as standard. Incorrect condition or undocumented testing destroys the corrosion resistance these grades are selected for. Specification clarity is mandatory.
