Reference only. Values are typical specification minimums for bar product in the stated condition. The governing requirements are always the ASTM/ASME edition, product form and supplementary conditions on your purchase order — verify against the EN 10204 3.1 certificate at receipt. NACE MR0175 service imposes additional hardness and condition limits (e.g. Inconel 718 at 40 HRC max).

Reference only. PREN = %Cr + 3.3×(%Mo + 0.5×%W) + 16×%N, calculated from the actual heat chemistry on the 3.1 certificate — not from nominal values. Confirm solution-annealing condition, ferrite content (typically 40–60%) and any required corrosion testing (e.g. ASTM A923 / G48) on the purchase order.

Release checks: For duplex and super duplex grades, heat treatment condition, ferrite content and PREN calculation are confirmed before release. Incorrect condition or undocumented testing can create avoidable corrosion risk.
